A Misunderstanding

Though we may want to escape following what others do, the perspective of absolutely not doing anything that may be similar to them is a trap many fall into.

We have either heard or learned that we should not follow some of the trends that this generation has to offer. May be taking drug, to what we wear to what we read or watch on television, with this thinking that has been implanted in our heads by some people that it is all wrong, we try to avoid, almost entirely what others do. This may not be wrong for some things, but one must understand, as humans we have different perspective on many thing and because of these, many wrongs are labeled right and right labeled wrong. And so even our perspective on things could, most probably be wrong.

For an example, fashion. Many are trying to avoid wearing clothes that are labeled too revealing or so. Some go to the extreme and just wear extremely loose fitting clothes. The thing is, its all base on perspective. Wear what you thing is comfortable to you, don't have it in your mind that wearing loose fitting is only right that by wearing loose clothes makes one uncomfortable. It does not matter what others think of what you wear. There are those ' lala's ' which we find in shopping mall who wear what they like, whether it may be hair or shoes. There is nothing wrong walking down a busy street wearing a robot suit. They are comfortable with it and they see no wrong, so they just do it. You can't avoid the stares, only ignore it. And even on drugs, with the idea that drugs are bad, some don't even take them at all when they are sick or when it had been prescribed by a doctor. Drugs are not wrong unless misused, and many mix this up.

So it all depends to the perspective of the person, whether to follows his/her own or follow the worlds, because we will not know what is right or wrong in many areas. The important thing is that when following the choice we chose, we need to take into consideration the choice we didn't take and look at both of them before making a decision on which is we think is right. And we need to know that the decision we made need not be final, that we can change it according to the situation that comes.

This was written based on my perspective which i think is right in saying what is going on in our world today. Although, if this sounds wrong to another, please still take this into consideration. Be open and flexible to everything, and life would be smoother.
